The Writings of Uriah Smith*

*DISCLAIMER: While Uriah Smith’s writings are historically influential, his views are not considered infallible, and some of his views have been revised or corrected by later Biblical study. Readers are encouraged to evaluate his conclusions carefully, comparing them with Scripture and the broader counsel of the Spirit of Prophecy. It is also important to consider that while he was very significant to the early Adventist cause, he was not without fault. He later took a wrong course and became involved in altering Ellen G. White’s writings beginning in 1883—changes that still have lasting effects. The books available on this site are limited to materials considered reliable and published before his departure from faithfulness.
